‘BioShock Infinite’ is all-format number one

BioShock Infinite has topped the UK charts in its debut week of release.

The first-person shooter has seen the biggest launch week for the BioShock franchise, selling 9,000 more copies than BioShock 2 in 2010.

It is also the second biggest launch of 2013 after Tomb Raider last month, which maintains second place after a number of price promotions at retail.

There were also several other new entries, including Luigi’s Mansion 2 in fifth, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel in sixth and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 in eighth.

LEGO City Undercover debuts outside of the top ten in 12th position, while Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time manages 31st place.

Elsewhere, last week’s number one Gears of War: Judgment moves down to third place, while FIFA 13 is in fourth.
