Aliens: Colonial Marines has knocked Dead Space 3 off the top of the all-format weekly chart.
It’s also the biggest-selling release of the year so far, and the second highest-grossing Aliens game in week one sales, behind 2010’s Aliens vs. Predator.
Dead Space 3, meanwhile, drops down to second, above FIFA 13 in third and Black Ops 2 in fourth.
With this week’s launch of the ‘Tyranny of King Washington’ DLC, Assassin’s Creed 3 climbs to six, beneath fellow Ubisoft title Far Cry 3.
At the tail-end of the chart, Dishonored and Grand Theft Auto IV re-enter at 19 and 20 respectively, behind Forza Horizon and Football Manager 2013.
