It’s the first time the shooter has reached number one in 2013 after it topped the chart for six weeks straight last year.
Football title FIFA 13 follows in second while Far Cry 3 is in third.
Elsewhere, last week’s number one DmC: Devil May Cry moves down to fourth, while Assassin’s Creed 3 is in fifth on the back of a price promotion.
