Jason Derülo has landed straight in at number one on the UK singles chart with ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’.
The 21-year-old outpaced previous champion ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’ by Example and Calvin Harris’s ‘Bounce’ to snag his second UK chart-topper. He last reached pole position with ‘In My Head’ back in February 2010.
Dutch DJ Vato Gonazlez and UK grime collective Foreign Beggars score the week’s second highest new entry with ‘Badman Riddim (Jump)’ at seven, just pipping Lady GaGa’s ‘The Edge Of Glory’, which steps to eight from 16 following the launch of the song’s official video last week.

The title of this week’s highest climber is awarded to Katy Perry and ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’, which rises 13 places from 24 to land on the rim of the Top 10, while Tinchy Stryder & Dappy zoom in the opposite direction with ‘Spaceship’, down from five to 13 in its second Sunday on the chart.
Elsewhere, Nicki Minaj takes ‘Super Bass’ to a new peak of 15 after bumping up a further two entries, while Jennifer Lopez watches her singles ‘I’m Into You’ and ‘On The Floor’ slip a respective six and five places down the numbers to 16 and 19.
The final space in the top 20 is snatched up by Black Eyed Peas and ‘Don’t Stop The Party’, down two in its seventh week, as The Saturdays just fail to scrape back into the upper numbers with ‘Notorious’, despite an impressive five-place climb from last Sunday’s 26.
