A Coventry Co-op has taken steps to reduce its environmental impact with a £500,000 refurbishment.

Located on Woodway Lane, Walsgrave, the Co-op is now running on 100 per cent renewable energy in a bid to help solve the climate emergency.

I don't see solar panels or a windmill anywhere so where is the energy coming from?

I think maybe the article needs to qualify 'renewable'.

I once subcontracted to a well known UK buildings material manufacturer and they were experimenting with solar panels that looked like normal roof tiles. Unfortunately, they had a reliability problem with them, which is why I was there. I'm not aware that they ever brought them to market, despite the reliability issue being sorted.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
