Recently repainted in duck-egg blue/turquoise outside the parade of shops in Upper Spon Stree (opposite the school) but why? Nothing else in Spon End is that colour except arguably the copper roofs of the buildings in nearby Wellington Gardens. I think the shops belong to Whitefriars if that's any clue?

Years ago, a co-manager of mine bought a job lot of blue paint cheap. Every rig and fixture made in the department was painted this blue for the next 15 years! When we eventually ran out, the purchasing people spent ages trying to get the same shade as they thought it was our corporate colours.
