Two women said they were approached by a man who made inappropriate comments to them
A man has been arrested on suspicion of harassment following two separate incidents in Earlsdon where women were targeted.
Police yesterday released an image of a man they wanted to trace after separate women said they had been approached by a man making inappropriate comments and harassing them.
The two incidents both happened in the Earlsdon area last month - the first on Spencer Avenue on Saturday, April 13 and the second on Warwick Road on Thursday, April 26 - although police said they were "aware there may be more incidents".
Now police have confirmed they have made an arrest.
A spokesman for Coventry Police said: "A man has been arrested on suspicion of harassment following two incidents in Earlsdon that took place in April.
"Two women were approached in Spencer Av & Warwick Rd by a man making inappropriate comments.
"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal on social media."
