Kylie Minogue rules out 'Strictly'

Kylie Minogue has admitted that she would not accept an offer to join the Strictly Come Dancing team.

The singer revealed that she would not like to go head-to-head with her sister Dannii, who is expected to return as a panellist on rival show The X Factor this year.

Kylie spoke out following reports that she could become a judge on the BBC ballroom series in the future.

In an interview with The People, the 41-year-old explained: "I know about this Strictly thing - the problem is that I can't go against my sister Dannii.

"I know some people would love it to happen but I just can't do it. It would be unfair on her because it would be like I was deliberately going up against her as a direct rival. But it's flattering if I'm being thought of for a show like that anyway."

Kylie recently said that she turned down the chance to appear as a guest judge on The X Factor out of respect for Dannii.

Well that, plus the fact she already has a job and so doesn't need the money!

Likewise the chances of Lady GaGa becoming a panelist on any talent show in the near future are practically zero.
