This is the scene after a campervan caught fire on a busy road in Coventry this afternoon
Fire crews were called to the blaze near Hearsall Common shortly before 4pm.
Photos show the yellow campervan burnt out at the rear end and a heap of possessions on the side of the carriageway.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire service said: "Crews were called at 3.51pm to a vehicle fire on the junction of Hearsall Lane and Tile Hill Lane near Hearsall Common.
"The vehicle was a van with a fire in the engine compartment."
Firefighters has left the scene by around 4.30pm.

IIRC those VWs were always prone to fires in the engine bay. The same happened to a friend of mine.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I knew the T2 suffered a lot from engine fires, didn't think the original did too.
