It was her turn to be served so she put the egg on the counter. The shop keeper said "that's 75p please".
The little girl held her hand up with all the money she had.
The shop keeper said "you've only got 47p I'm sorry but you haven't got enough"
She said "but it's really nice, it's my favourite"
The shop keeper said "I'm so sorry".
At this point I stepped forward and paid for the egg.
The little girl was right,
