Pollyanna, it would be more than a pleasure to meet you someday in your native town but as you say, maybe another time.
It would be a memorable event as you would have the opportunity of meeting the Matriarch (Maureen) and that would be a lightening experience, believe me & you both would have the chance to partake of a fish supper fried personally by our fish supper chef

I'm hoping to come up later in the year - but have to have 2 operations - which is gonna take 3 months out of my year unfortunately. I'm planing on spending my recovery basking on my patio on the sunlounger - weather permitting of course - hahaha. The way things are going with this ash cloud - Coventry may be an option for a holiday this year

That must be very stressful for you Polly? Please let us know nearer to the date(s) you go into hospital so we don't think you've gone missing. We will all understand if you don't feel like posting very much while you recover.

Going in on the 14th May Dutchy - got a cancellation - will only be in for a couple of days hopefully - but will be out of action for 6 weeks - then another op. later on - then another 6 weeks out of action - so have been busy stocking up on essential food stuffs and making sure everything is up to date. Fortunately I have a good network of friends who will support me.

I can always crash out on the sofa with the laptop Thanks for your concern
