Police have released CCTV images as they investigate the use of stolen bank cards in Coventry.

The cards have been used fraudulently after being stolen from a car parked on Sunnybank Avenue in the Whitley area of the city between February 2 and 3.

Transactions were later made on the cards at Sainsbury’s in Austin Drive and the Nisa Local in Bell Green .

West Midlands Police have now released images of a man they believe can help them with their inquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man or has any information is asked to contact West Midlands Police on 101 or email investigating officer PC Sahota on munmohan.sahota@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk, quoting crime number 20CV/29219E/18.

Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org

I've never understood that type of crime? You'd have to repeat it over and over again to steal a worthwhile amount and every time you repeat it increases the chances of being caught.
