The road was closed at the junction of Holyhead Road and Moseley Avenue
A pensioner was taken to hospital this afternoon after suffering a head injury in a collision with a motorbike and a car.
The crash occurred at 12.15pm today on the junction of Holyhead Road and Moseley Avenue, near to the Holyhead pub .
One man contacted the Telegraph to say that Moseley Avenue had been cordoned off with police tape and several police vehicles were at the scene.
West Midlands Police confirmed that a road closure is in place and it is not yet known when the road will reopen.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Police were called to the scene of a collision between a car, motorbike and a pedestrian at 12.15pm today (28 January).
“The pedestrian, a 68-year-old man, was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury.
“Police are at the scene and the road remains closed.”
