Crews from Foleshill Fire Station were sent to the Meggitt Aerospace Braking Systems plant on Holbrook Lane in the early hoursFire crews were called out to a fire at a factory in Coventry early this morning.
Crews from Foleshill Fire Station were sent to the Meggitt Aerospace Braking Systems plant on Holbrook Lane in the early hours, following reports of a blaze.
Staff at the site were evacuated while the fire was contained, and were eventually allowed back into the building at around 7.30am today.
A crew member from Foleshill Fire Station told the Telegraph that it is believed that the cause of the fire was two extractor units, which created a significant amount of smoke.
Fortunately, they have confirmed that no one was hurt in the incident. With the smoke apparently being worse than the fire, the building avoided structural damage.
