Pop star Olly Murs makes shock appearance at Coventry bar

But why was he here?



Customer at Millsy's bar in Earlsdon had the shock of a lifetime last night when pop star Olly Murs walked in.

The Troublemaker and Wrapped Up singer was more than happy to chat with fans and pose for photographs at the bar in Earlsdon Street.

One lucky lady, who managed to get a selfie with Olly, was Jane Sutton, who said: "I apologised to him for asking for a selfie, but he is clearly a pro at taking them as he took my phone to take it.

"He was being nice to everybody who chatted to him and taking selfies with them."

Olly recently signed up to be a judge on The Voice, alongside Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson, having made his name on the X Factor.

Another person who snapped a photo with him was Chelsee Fagan who said Olly was "nice and polite".

It is believed that the singer was visiting a friend in the area and they had popped out to enjoy the Coventry nightlife.

A spokesman for Millsy's said: "He had a meal with mates in Street and then went on to Millsy’s after and everyone said how lovely he was with all the staff and customers.

"He took lots of selfies and then was able to enjoy his night."
