NHS in England hit by 'cyber-attack'

I find this very worrying, but not particularly surprising.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I'm waiting for our illustrious local newspaper to report on whether any local hospitals or GP surgeries have been affected?

I don't really understand how cyber hackers work, but when it comes to the NHS I'm sure they had there own internal security system and is hack proof, I think the virus system is called Sophos.

Prescription Ordering Direct in Coventry is currently experiencing long delays. They say it's due to a 'system update' which I suspect is in reaction to the cyber-attack although not a direct result of it.
