Park perverts are exposing themselves to dog walkers in two Coventry parks.

Police have received reports that of men seen flashing and performing sex acts at women walking their pets in Lake View Park and Coundon Park.

One dog walker told police she was “shocked and shook up by seeing a man in the bushes” performing a sex act in Coundon Park.

She shared her account of what happened with Spotted Coventry City.

In her post, she said: “There was a man in the wooded area just off Tamworth Road to the right hand corner of the park. It has been reported to police.

“Just let kids know who maybe walk through the park to or from school.”

She told police that the man hadn’t “spoke to her or made any threats” towards her, but it “put her off going to this park for life”.

West Midlands Police said it had received two reports of a man exposing himself in bushes at around noon on Monday.

A spokesman said: "We received two reports on Monday, December 12, from dog walkers reporting men exposing themselves in parks.

“One was in Lake View Park, in Lake View Road, Coundon, and the other in Coundon Park, Tamworth Road, both in the early afternoon.

“On both occasions a man was spotted partially hidden in bushes with his trousers and pants down."

He added: “We appreciate how alarming incidents like this can be and encourage people who witness such behaviour to call us with information.

“We have a partial description of the offender and will be making enquiries with colleagues in our Public Protection Unit in a bid to identify potential suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Midlands Police on 101.

It might help if plod shared their 'partial description'.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I was walking past Lake View Park last week and it struck me just how dark it is even in the early evening. Some lights in the park might help cut the number of anti-social incidents reported there recently.

The right hand side of Coundon Park would be known locally as The Spinney which runs along side the Tamworth Rd. About 40 years ago when I lived by there a man tried to grab my friends two boys as they use cut through the park to get to Coundon Court.

Straight ahead in the photo you can just about see the Old Hall behind the shrubbery .
