Flat in Coventry's Bell Green tops list of cheapest property sold in the city

Land Registry figures reveal least expensive and costliest homes to change hands in Coventry and Warwickshire in October

A flat in Coventry’s Bell Green was the cheapest property to change hands in the city in October.

The leasehold apartment, at 26 Alice Arnold House, Riley Square, was sold for a knockdown price of £27,000.

The one-bedroom flat topped a list of the month’s cheapest home sales in Coventry and Warwickshire, according to the Land Registry.

The second and third cheapest properties were also flats.

A flat at 51 Ainsdale Close, Longford, sold for £46,000 and another at 40 Glamorgan Close, Willenhall, for £61,000.

The cheapest property in Warwickshire was also a flat, at 6 Berkeley Close, Nuneaton, which went for £67,000.

The most expensive property sold was terraced Yew Tree House at High Street, Henley-in-Arden, which fetched £1,250,000.

No properties in Coventry appeared on the list.
