Teen spotted on 'stolen' scooter in Foleshill Road arrested for firearm offence

A teenager was arrested for firearm and drug offences after being spotted on a suspected stolen scooter.

Police stopped the 17-year-old as he was riding the bike along Foleshill Road on Thursday, November 17.

He was originally halted by officers from Warwickshire Police before being handed over to colleagues from West Midlands Police.

The teen was then arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a firearm while prohibited.

He was taken in to police custody and bailed until early January.
