A man is wanted by police after a serious assault in Coventry.

Detectives are trying to trace Wesley Cain, who is wanted in connection with the assault that happened on Tuesday, November 1.

The 26-year-old, of no fixed address, was last seen in Foleshill on the day of the assault.

He is also wanted for breaching a restraining order.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “It’s important we locate Wesley as soon as possible and I would urge anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact us.

“Officers have made numerous enquiries as well as at addresses where Wesley has lived previously and places we know he frequents, but so far have been unable to locate him.

“Anyone who knows of Wesley’s whereabouts should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
