Naga Munchetty and Pasha Kovalev are the fourth couple to leave
BBC presenter Naga Munchetty and professional partner Pasha Kovalev have become the fourth couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing.
The two faced off with Anastacia and Brendan Cole in the dance off, after the judges' scores were combined with the results of the viewers' vote. It marked Anastacia's second time in the dance off, but this time there was no drama as both couples performed again.
Naga and Pasha did their Charleston to Firehouse Five Plus Two's 'Minnie The Mermaid', while Anastacia and Brendan performed their Rumba to Barbra Streisand's 'The Way We Were'.
On Saturday's show, the judges scored Anastacia and Brendan higher than Naga and Pasha with 27 to 24, and they followed suit by voting unanimously to save Anastacia and Brendan, with Bruno Tonioli praising them for being "cleaner, slicker and more rounded".
Following Will Young's shock exit last week, Naga is the third celebrity to be voted off Strictly after Melvin Odoom and EastEnders' Tameka Empson, whose exits prompted some viewers to accuse the voting public of racism.
After her exit, Naga said she was "absolutely gutted" to leave and was full of praise for Pasha: "I've loved every minute of it, your patience, your brilliance with your choreography and just being the best teacher I've ever had."
"Thank you for being the best student I've ever had, so determined and so much fun all the time," Pasha added, and we just got a little bit emotional.
Sunday's results show also featured a performance from Madness.
Naga and Pasha will be on Monday night's episode of It Takes Two on BBC Two at 6.30pm. Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday (October 22) at 6.35pm and Sunday (October 23) at 7.15pm on BBC One.
