I remain unconvinced that it was cost effective to use a helicopter.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I'm not convinced that chasing boy racers through the streets at high speed for 15 minutes is a good use of police time and vehicles either.

Wyken police chase: man charged with dangerous driving

A man is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today charged with dangerous driving and driving while disqualified after a police chase in the city.

Tony Berrill is accused of failing to stop for officers and driving dangerously through the city centre on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old, of no fixed address, was stopped in Sewell Highway in a Seat Leon.

The vehicle failed to stop for officers at around 11.35pm and the police helicopter was called in as the car was pursued from Foleshill Road before it came to halt off the road in Wyken around 15 minutes later.

Four other people were arrested from the vehicle; a 21-year-old and two 17-year-olds, who were later released without charge and will face no further action; and a 19-year-old man who was cautioned for possession of cannabis.
