A girl and her gran were taken to hospital after a hit-and-run in Coventry.

Emergency crews were called to Everdon Road, Holbrooks, at 7.30pm on Saturday, September 24.

Initial reports stated that two cars, a Ford Fusion and an Audi, were involved in the collision.

When paramedics arrived, the driver of the Audi left the scene.

A 15-year-old girl in the Ford suffered leg injuries and her gran complained of back pain.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We were called to a collision between at silver Ford Fusion and a black Audi just after 7.30pm on Saturday on Everdon Road, Holbrooks.

“A woman from the Fusion suffered minor injuries and the driver of the Audi had left the scene.

“Enquiries are still on going.”

A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman added: “One female and one girl were in the other vehicle.

“It looks like the female was assisted from the vehicle by ambulance staff and was checked over by paramedics .

“The girl had leg injuries and received first aid from fire service personnel. They were relayed to hospital by ambulance.”

The council’s highways team was also called to the scene to clear up a small diesel spill.

Hardy helps by blacking out the number plate, does it?
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Rather 'naughty' of them.

I don't post anything to social media that I'm worried about being stolen. - And that's what it is, unless they have paid for it, or gotten permission from the photographer: and I don't see any picture acknowledgement. - Assuming you are correct, of course. ;)
