The youngster, from Wood End, must pay compensation to his victim

A thirteen-year-old boy who threw a brick through the window of a Coventry home has been ordered to pay compensation.

The youngster, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested after an argument broke out in Winston Avenue, Henley Green, on July 20, which ended with the brick smashing a window at a property in the street.

Police charged the boy, from Wood End, with criminal damage and he pleaded guilty at Coventry Youth Court on Thursday.

He was ordered to pay £80 compensation to the victim and no other penalty was enforced.
