Council officers have visited the park in Woodway Walk to assess damage
Vandals have struck at a children’s play area in Coventry over the weekend.
Families have been shocked to find that logs at Woodway Walk children’s park have been badly damaged by yobs.
Coventry council sent their officers to the park to assess the damage on Monday morning.
It is not the first time the play area, which cost £122,500 to build, has been hit by vandals with some equipment not being replaced from previous attacks.
Other incidents over the past few years have seen planted trees ripped up and play equipment broken and covered in graffiti.
