Force originally said that the event had passed off without incident but since then two people have contacted them
Police are investigating two assaults that took place at the Ricoh Arena during Rihanna’s concert.
Yesterday a spokesman for West Midlands Police said that the event passed off without major incident.
The Telegraph understands that since then two people have come forward to say they were assaulted at the event on Saturday night.
Today a force spokesman said: “No arrests have been made but inquiries are on-going, this will include the examination of any CCTV.”
The aftermath of one incident during the concert was caught on camera by a number of people.
It isn’t known if either of the assault complaints relate to that incident.
Anyone who witnessed an assault during the concert and has information that could help police with their inquiries should call 101.
To give evidence anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
