A Coventry motorist has been branded the "most inconsiderate driver" in the country - after parking across FOUR disabled bays.

The unidentified driver was snapped on camera after he parked thoughtlessly in the car park of McDonald's, situated at the Alvis Retail Park, in Holyhead Road.

The man abandoned his grey Vauxhall Astra on Saturday afternoon, with the image posted on social media shortly after.

With his vehicle blocking all four spaces, Coventry residents fumed.

The Mirror reports Ashley Brownsword caught the image - and the 33-year-old said he couldn't believe his eyes.

Pulling into the car park at the fast food giant at around 5pm, Ashley spotted the car and uploaded the picture in a bid to identify and shame the driver.

The motorist had gone into the restaurant with his girlfriend and Ashley says he stayed there for at least ten minutes, according to the Mirror.

Coventry residents were left livid at the picture, which was uploaded to the 'Spotted: Coventry City' page.

Patricia Swindley wrote: "Hope to God some of you never have a disabled parent or loved one who needs a disabled space, and you have to watch them struggle cause some thoughtless idiot who doesn't need one has parked in a disabled space, what an awful country we live in when people just don't care x"

Billy CCFC Lyons said: "This has got to be the most inconsiderate driver in Britain".

Paul Holland added: "Yep its a stupid thing to do, how many of you park half on the pavement causing wheelchair users to use the road?"

"Despicable!" added Courtney Jade.

It isn't the first instance of poor parking in Coventry city centre. Take a look at some of the city's worst instances of bad parking in our gallery at the top of the page.
