Police have released CCTV images of two women they want to speak to after a bank card was swiped from McDonalds and used at two petrol stations.

A total of £200 was spent on the card at Morrisons Petrol Station in Holyhead Road and Butts Service Station in Butts Road before the thief tried to spend £599 with Tesco Direct - and discovered that the card had been cancelled.

The card was in a bag that was stolen from McDonalds in Cross Cheaping at 7pm on April 17.

The bag had been left unattended by a 22-year-old woman for a couple of minutes when it was taken.

Officers investigating the theft have trawled CCTV and believe the two women captured on CCTV will be able to help them with their inquiries.

How were they able to use the card without the pin number?
