Police are urgently trying to find a teenage girl who has been missing in Coventry for over a week.

Ellie Mae Shaylor, 14, from Wyken, was last seen on October 7 and police are appealing for information to trace the youngster.

Ellie is 5ft 3in tall, slim and has long blonde hair.

Anyone who may have seen Ellie or has any information regarding here whereabouts is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101.

Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by calling the Missing Persons Charity on 116 000.

Missing Coventry teen turns up at police station

A Coventry teen missing since last week has now been found.

Ellie Mae Shaylor, 14, was last seen on Wednesday, October 7.

The teen from Wyken turned up at Coventry police station after seeing appeals to find her on social media.

A police spokeswoman said: “She came to Coventry police station.

“She had seen herself on Faceboook.”

Coventry Police tweeted to inform the public that she had been found: “Ellie Mae Shaylor has been found safe and well. Thanks for all your help.”

Concerns grow for missing teenager Ellie Mae Shaylor

Police have renewed an appeal for a missing teenager who they strongly believe may be in the Coventry area.

Ellie Mae Shaylor, aged 15, was last on the afternoon of Saturday April 23 at the McDonald’s restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon .

West Midlands Police and Warwickshire Police say they have become increasingly concerned for the youngster’s welfare and have urged anyone who knows of her whereabouts to make contact with them.

She is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, with long blonde hair, blue eyes and of slim build.

The youngster, who is known to have links to the Coventry area, was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with cream fur, dark denim leggings, Adidas trainers and carrying a cream handbag.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Ellie Mae has been missing before and we need to make sure she is safe and well.”

Anyone who believes they may have seen Ellie Mae, or who has any information about where she might be, is urged to contact Coventry Police on 101 or Missing People on 116 000.

Alternatively, people can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555111.

Relief after missing Coventry teenager Ellie Mae Shaylor found safe and well

Missing teenager Ellie Mae Shaylor has been found safe and well.

The teenager was last seen on Saturday April 23 at the McDonalds restaurant in Stratford.

Police were concerned about her and thought she might be in Coventry.

It was not the first time the teenager had gone missing.

Missing teenage girl has not been seen for a month

A teenager who could be in Coventry has now been missing for over a month.

Ellie Mae Shaylor, 15, was last seen in Alcester at 7.30pm on Friday September 23 and police are eager to know she is safe and well.

Ellie, who is known to have links to Coventry and Birmingham, is 5ft 3ins, white and slim.

Earlier this month, when police put an appeal out to track her down, Ellie took to Facebook to reassure people that she was safe.

She wrote: “Non of use have the right to sit there and slate me because I’ve been missing ‘too many times’ but that has nothing to do with anyone, this is not a game to me and I’m not ‘loving the attention’ at all.

“Why are people so judgemental if it was your daughter in my shoes use wouldn’t like grown men or women slating them.”

Anyone who believes they may have seen Ellie Mae, or who has any information about where she might be, is urged to contact Coventry Police on 101, ext 834 3187.

Alternatively, people can contact Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or call the Missing People charity on 116 000.
