Telegraph editor Keith Perry said: “The Pride of Coventry and Warwickshire Awards night was absolutely brilliant last year and we are expecting it to be just even better this year.
“For all the celebrities we have there, the real stars of the show are the unsung heroes we are able to thrust into the spotlight and honour.
“The whole process of going through the massive amount of nominations we received, to generating a shortlist and then judging with our sponsors, is a truly humbling experience.
“We know we have some amazing people in Coventry and Warwickshire who show courage and determination and manage to inspire and help others through their actions. They are usually the most humble people you could meet so it is great that these awards allow us to know their inspiring stories, thanks to the readers who nominate them.”
