A new hair and beauty salon in Keresley has officially opened its doors to customers.

The Estilo salon was finally open for business following a major renovation to the building’s interior, which saw it fitted out with a modern design.

The business is owned by 25-year-old Lauren Roach from Kerseley, who has aspired to own a salon since starting her hairdressing career at school aged 14.

She built up a knowledge of the hairdressing business during her years working in salons across the West Midlands and has been working hard towards the end goal of owning her own establishment.

And her dream finally became a reality when Estilo was opened by Coventry’s Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Lindsley Harvard, on Saturday February 13.

Lauren said: “It was one of the best days of my life finally realising that a life long dream had come true and I could focus on my passion of hair dressing in the area where I grew up as a child.”

The launch party celebrations were also used as an opportunity to raise money for Myton Hospice, who cared for Lauren's Grandfather - with a raffle raising an impressive £200 for the charity.

Lauren is accompanied in the salon by her team of experienced stylists, as well as a trained beautician who offers a range of treatments.

She is now looking forward to growing her business in Coventry and offering a pleasurable hair dressing experience for all of her customers.
