Man attacked by group in Spon Street

A MAN was attacked by a group of people walking down a Coventry Street on New Year’s Day.

The nasty assault happened on Spon Street about 8am when a young man became involved in a fight with a group of men.

The man responsible was Asian, about 20-years-old, 5ft 5ins tall, slim and wearing a dark blue top. He may have also been carrying a weapon.
