A quick-thinking witness who spotted a nasty assault in Tile Hill took a picture of a suspect.

Now police have released the image in an attempt to track down the man who officers believe will be able to help their inquiries into the attack, which happened on November 26.

The incident happened at the bottom of Templar Avenue.

The 30-year-old victim was walking underneath the railway line at around 3pm when two suspects threw a bottle at him.

When the 30-year-old went to remonstrate with the men one of them grabbed him by the neck and punched him in the face.

Fortunately the victim escaped serious injury, but police are still keen to track the man in the image down.

If you have any information please contact Det Con Joanne Webb at Willenhall police station on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to police call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Well, I couldn't identify anyone from that picture! :clown:
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
