Broadchurch concludes with series high of 7.6 million on ITV

Broadchurch's series two finale was the drama's highest rated episode of 2015, according to overnight figures for Monday (February 23).

The final episode of the ITV drama's latest run was seen by an average 7.62m (32.7%) at 9pm, with an added 222k (1.4%) on +1. Earlier, Robson Green's More Tales from Northumberland continued with 2.78m (12.4%) at 8pm (152k/0.6% on +1).

On BBC One, Inside Out gathered 3.42m (15.9%) at 7.30pm, before Children of the Great Migration interested 2.13m (9.2%) at 8.30pm. New Tricks - which will air its final episode later this year - attracted 2.66m (11.4%) at 9pm.

BBC Two's University Challenge interested 3.04m (13.2%) at 8pm, while Only Connect was watched by 2.57m (11.1%) at 8.30pm. A Cook Abroad averaged 1.52m (6.5%) at 9pm, before House of Fools continued with 670k (3.9%) at 10pm.

Channel 4's Food Unwrapped attracted 1.28m (5.6%) at 8.30pm (60.4k/0.3%), while NHS: £2 Billion a Week and Counting interested 820k (3.5%) at 9pm (103k/0.7%). Catastrophe amused 540k (3.2%) at 10pm (60k/0.7%).

Police Interceptors brought in 863k (3.7%) for Channel 5 at 8pm (65k/0.3%), while Benefits Britain: Life on the Dole continued with 1.79m (7.7%) at 9pm (153k/1.0%). Later, 10,000 BC entertained 759k (4.8%) at 10pm (37k/0.5%).

BBC Three's Uncle dropped to 162k (0.7%) for its second episode at 9.30pm. E4's Taking New York rose to 95k (0.6%) at 9pm for its latest episode.

On Fox, The Walking Dead thrilled 560k (2.4%) at 9pm, while ITVBe's Real Housewives of Cheshire gathered 204k (1.3%) at 10pm.
