Death in Paradise returned with high ratings to top Thursday evening, overnight data reveals.
The BBC One crime drama attracted an average 6.91 million (29.7%) at 9pm. This is down from last year's launch of 7.13m (29.7%), but is still its third-highest ever audience.
Earlier, Would I Lie To You? brought in 4.19m (18.9%) at 8pm, while Question Time gathered 2.80m (23.4%) at 10.35pm.
BBC Two's Somerset: After the Floods interested 1.57m (6.9%) at 8pm, followed by Super Rich & Us with 1.73m (7.4%) at 9pm.
On ITV, Jeremy Kyle's new series The Kyle Files attracted 2.61m (12.2%) at 7.30pm (115,000/0.5% on +1). Birds of a Feather amused 3.47m (10.0%) at 8.30pm (159k/0.7%), and Bring Back Borstal intrigued 2.23m (9.6%) at 9pm (330k/2.0%).
Channel 4's Location, Location, Location was seen by 1.80m (7.9%) at 8pm (172k/0.7%), followed by Shut-Ins: Britain's Fattest People with 1.42m (6.1%) at 9pm (215k/1.3%). Sex Party Secrets fascinated 1.38m (8.3%) at 10pm (166k/1.8%).
On Channel 5, Secrets of the Egyptian Pyramids brought in 1.00m (4.4%) at 8pm. Celebrity Big Brother continued with 2.35m (10.1%) at 9pm (202k/1.2%), followed by the return of Botched Up Bodies with 858k (5.1%) at 10pm (122k/1.3%).
BBC Three's showing of Avengers Assemble thrilled 895k (3.9%) at 7.45pm.
