BBC One's The Missing tops Tuesday with 5.6 million

The Missing held steady from last week to top Tuesday's (November 4) ratings outside soaps, overnight data reveals.

The BBC One drama dipped by around 100,000 from last week's opener to an average 5.66 million (25.3%) viewers at 9pm. Earlier, The Passing Bells brought in 3.69m (18.7%) at 7pm.

BBC Two's Great Interior Design Challenge appealed to 1.62m (8.0%) at 7pm, followed by the return of MasterChef: The Professionals with 2.54m (11.3%) at 8pm. Human Universe gathered 1.51m (6.7%) at 9pm.

On ITV, the Champions League coverage of Liverpool's loss to Real Madrid scored 4.57m (20.6%) from 7.30pm.

Channel 4's Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners attracted 1.37m (6.1%) at 8pm (285k/1.3% on +1). You Can't Get the Staff intrigued 1.00m (4.4%) at 9pm (222k/1.5%), while 8 Out of 10 Cats amused 1.10m (7.1%) at 10pm (138k/1.8%).

On Channel 5, Britain's Worst Crimes was seen by 731k (3.3%) at 8pm, followed by Miracle Babies with 867k (3.9%) at 9pm.

BBC Three's Snow, Sex & Suspicious Parents entertained 322k (1.4%) at 9pm, while Life is Toff attracted 396k (2.4%) at 10pm.

On Sky1, The Flash's latest episode thrilled 581k (2.6%) at 8pm, while MTV's Geordie Shore brought in 335k (2.3%) at 10pm.

Dave's Storage Hunters UK dropped around 400k from last week to 674k (3.0%) at 8pm, but rose to 693k (3.0%) at 8.30pm.
