The Great British Bake Off drew 8.3 million viewers on BBC One last night (September 17), according to overnight figures.
The latest episode - which saw the remaining contestants take on pastries - averaged 8.32m (37.4%) in the 8pm hour.
Afterwards, Our Zoo scored 3.98m (18.8%) from 9pm.
On BBC Two, Celebrity Antiques Roadshow continued with 1.2m (6.5%) from 7pm. Hotel India followed with 1.15m (5.2%), while This World and Some People with Jokes were watched by 1.38m (6.5%) and 895k (5.4%) respectively.
ITV's Celebrity Squares took 2.48m (6.5%) from 8pm. Later, Scott & Bailey appealed to 3.74m (17.6%).
On Channel 4, Sarah Beeny's Double Your House for Half the Money managed 984k (4.4%) from 8pm. Grand Designs had 1.54m (7.3%) and The Great British Break-Up? The Live Debate earned 609k (4.4%).
On Channel 5, Britain's Deadliest Roads was seen by 885k (4%) in the 8pm hour, before Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away secured 1.35m (6.4%).
In the multichannels, Sean Bean's Legends premiered to 201k (1.4%) in the 10pm hour.
The Strain kicked off with 191k (1.5%) from 10pm on Watch.
