This :censored: has no shame. He's so brazen I think he'll probably have the nerve to do it again

Shame on any newspaper that buys his story :fuming:

Pollyanna, he will regret it but he is, in my opinion, an attention seeker and if he carries on he will get the attention he does not expect as he has more than upset a lot of people ;) .

He will deserve all the 'attention' he gets Stevie - his wife is just as bad - if it was me I'd hang my head in shame and would have left the :censored: by now!!!!

Looks like it's all about money now tho.

I can assure you Tom as an ex squaddie, like many more who have served this country and proud of it, that this :censored: better keep his mouth shut or he will rue the day that he had the affrontery to march with ex soldiers in the parade in Bedworth displaying medals that he has NO right to wear and hope that he has or his wife have disposed of them or the so called the money he gets from his so called "Big Story" will be buying him a new house preferably abroad as the one they live in now will not exist :x

I was out with a couple of ex squaddies last night. It was they who tipped me off about the story in The Sun. Their views were almost identical to yours.

I guess that man is in the process of making a lot of enemies.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Rebbonk, I think he has already made them and as Stevie and your buddies have said this guy is treading on very thin ice and I was in Manchester at the weekend and was discussing this with a couple of serving Army guys in the Paras. and they are itching to get at him so that says it all :x

Don't know whether to feel sorry or mad about this guy, and the same thing happens here unfortunately. There are so many 'wannabies' in this world, when caught they should as Stevie writes be ordered to visit one of the hospitals where our brave warriors are being helped out with prosthetics and other aids, maybe he would learn a hard lesson as to what our lads have endured in the quest for peace.

All for the purpose of trying to give a false impression of heroism to a young and impressionable girl. Had he sought financial gain due to his exploits, or betterment in employment, then he should have been jailed, but I guess no other harm has been done other than get a few free drinks at local bars.

Larry - great to see you posting on here!!!! Hope you're getting stronger by the day. I'm sure Dutchy will sort an avatar out for you ;)

This :censored: has no conscience - and I doubt a visit to wounded soldiers would have any effect on him.

I just hope no newspaper buys his story - and if they do - I hope that no-one buys that paper :fuming:

Yes indeed, welcome to the board Larry :welcome:

I have noticed you browsing here on occasion and am pleased you finally feel well-enough to post.

It was quite tricky finding an avatar for you which worked when shrunk down but you are free to delete or change it at any time :)

'Dutchman' Many thanks for the Avatar, I love it, have many happy memories of KLM when I attended their excellent aviation school at Schipol in the late 60's.
