Andy Murray's third round Wimbledon win was seen by an average of 4.66 million (25.1%) on BBC One.
Murray beat Roberto Bautista Agut is straight sets to progress to the fourth round in the early evening. The action peaked with 4.78 million as the reigning champion closed in on the victory.
BBC One's evening continued with 3.82 million (19%) for Celebrity Masterchef at 8.30pm. This week's guests included Leslie Ash and Wayne Sleep.
Looking back at the best bits from the latest series, The Graham Norton Show was seen by 2.69 million (22.5%) at 10.35pm. It was followed by 950k (11.5%) for Uncle at 11.20pm.
Because of the delayed start to the tennis, The One Show aired at 7pm on BBC Two. It was seen by 1.66 million (9.1%), while 1.19 million (5.6%) stuck around for Today at Wimbledon at 8.15pm.
Gardeners' World pulled in 1.81 million (8.9%) at 9pm, while QI was seen by 1.17 million (5.8%) immediately after.
BBC Two's first visit to Glastonbury 2014 entertained 1.51 million (8.1%) at 10pm. 470k stayed up late to watch more musical highlights at 11.05pm.
Glastonbury coverage also did well on BBC Three and BBC Four. Paolo Nutini's performance reeled in 785k (3.9%) at 9pm.
Elbow were watched by 680k at the same time on BBC Four, while Haim and Lily Allen's sets attracted 606k at 8pm on BBC Three.
Presented by Griff Rhys Jones, It'll Be Alright on the Night was ITV's highest-rated show outside of soaps, pulling in 2.37 million (11.7%) at 9pm.
8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown was once again Channel 4's most popular show, with audiences of 1.21 million (6%) tuning in at 9pm.
It was preceded by Celebrity Fifteen to One, which drew 990k (4.8%) at 8pm. The evening ended with Friday Night Dinner, which was seen 890k (4.8%) at 10pm.
Elsewhere, Big Brother's latest live eviction was seen by 1.21 million (6.2%) at 9pm on Channel 5. An average audience of 637k (4.6%) stuck around for Big Brother's Bit on the Side immediately after.
