ITV's World Cup coverage tops quiet Monday ratings

ITV topped a quiet Monday night with its World Cup coverage, overnight data reveals.

The match between Brazil and Cameroon scored 5.2 million (26.7%) at 8.30pm.

BBC One's New Tricks repeat interested 2.4m (10.8%) at 9pm. Tennis documentary When Andy Won Wimbledon appealed to 1.3m (10.2%) at 10.35pm.

On BBC Two, Today at Wimbledon launched with 1.4m (6.3%) at 8pm, followed by Police Under Pressure with 1.2m (5.6%) at 9pm.

Channel 4's repeat of 24 Hours in A&E appealed to 850,000 (3.9%) at 9pm. CCTV: Caught on Camera intrigued 888k (4.9%) at 10pm.

On Channel 5, Angry Britain brought in 1.2m (5.6%) at 8pm, followed by Benefits Britain with 2.2m (9.9%) at 9pm (154k/0.9% on +1). Big Brother: Power Trip continued with 1.2m (6.6%) at 10pm.

BBC Three's Murdered by My Boyfriend was seen by 781k (3.6%) at 9pm. BBC Four's Only Connect quizzed 717k (3.3%) at 8.30pm.
