Vandals smash windows of Nuneaton heritage centre

Postby dutchman » Tue Jun 03, 2014 3:08 pm

Vandals have caused an estimated £2,000 worth of damage to a heritage centre in Nuneaton.

They smashed several windows at the Chilvers Coton building, which houses a museum and a Victorian schoolroom and is run as a charity by a team of volunteers.

Chairman John Burton said: “This was a prolonged attack and some of the toughened glass on the secondary glazing was broken as well.”

Offenders struck last Friday night targeting some of the new windows which had been installed last year, at a cost of £4,000.

This is something that I just can't understand. Why? What does it achieve? :fuming: :fuming: :fuming:

If they're caught, (which I doubt) they or their parents ought be nmade pay for all the damage and repairs.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
