Caroline Quentin has revealed that she would "love to go back" to Jonathan Creek.
The actress told Graham Norton on his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday (May 17) that she would be interested in a return to the hit detective series.
"I would love to go back and do it," she said. "I basically left to give birth.
"Things moved on I suppose [for the writers] and they cast other people. Consequently I've never returned to it.
"Given the opportunity I'd love to but at the moment I haven't heard from them at all."
Quentin, who appeared as Maddy Magellan in the mystery series between 1997 and 2000, also told Norton that she was "surprised and delighted" the popularity of the show has endured.
Alan Davies, who plays Jonathan Creek, recently said that his character "will never meet anyone quite like Maddy again".
