MasterChef enters final week with 5.1m on BBC One

MasterChef rose in the ratings as it entered its final week, overnight data reveals.

The BBC One show was up around 200,000 from last week to 5.1 million (23.2%) at 9pm. Earlier, Watchdog interested 4.1m (20.3%) at 8pm, while A Question of Sport quizzed 2.2m (19.6%) at 10.35pm.

On BBC Two, Great British Menu was seen by 1.4m (7.2%) at 7.30pm, followed by Under Offer with 1.3m (6.7%) at 8pm. Coast Australia returned with 1.7m (7.8%) at 9.15pm. Episodes' third series premiered with 944k (5.3%) at 10pm.

ITV's Big Star's Little Star entertained 3.3m (16.6%) at 8pm, followed by the final part of Billy Connolly's Big Send Off with 2.0m (9.9%) at 9pm (180k/1.2% on +1).

On Channel 4, Supervet appealed to 1.3m (6.5%) at 8pm (141k/0.7%). 24 Hours in A&E gathered 1.6m (7.2%) at 9pm (405k/2.6%), while Derek fell to 658k (3.8%) at 10pm (155k/1.7%).

Channel 5's NCIS excited 950k (4.4%) at 9pm (187k/1.2%), followed by Castle with 583k (3.6%) at 10pm.

On BBC Three, Orphan Black's latest thrilled 201k (1.2%) at 10pm.

Sky1's 24: Live Another Day rose over 100k from last week to 659k (3.0%) at 9pm.
