Sunday ratings: Fargo continues with 1.17m on Channel 4

Fargo continued to attract over a million viewers for Channel 4 on Sunday night.



The Martin Freeman drama pulled in 1.17m (5.0%) at 9pm (228k/1.3% on +1) - down around 300k from last week.

Earlier, Bear's Wild Weekend appealed to 400k (2.1%) at 7pm (83k/0.4%) and For the Love of Cars drove away with 890k (4.0%) at 8pm (181k/0.8%).

BBC One's Countryfile topped the evening with 5.28m (28.2%) at 7pm, followed by Antiques Roadshow an hour later with 4.57m (20.6%) and The Crimson Field with 4.42m (18.9%) at 9pm.

On ITV, Catchphrase and Off Their Rockers entertained 3.31m (19.0%) and 3.16m (16.2%) respectively (191k/0.9% and 254k/1.1%), before Vera attracted 5.16m (22.6%) at 8pm (389k/1.9%).

Channel 5's broadcast of Stargate thrilled 466k (2.3%) at 6.45pm (94k/0.4%), before War of the Worlds was seen by 969k (4.9%) at 9pm (116k/0.9%).

BBC Two aired coverage of the World Snooker Championship from 7pm to 11.15pm, pocketing 2.34m (11.8%).

A new series "Car S.O.S." begins next Sunday on Channel 4 and one episode of that will also feature a Triumph Stag. It's not a totally original model though, being fitted with a Rover engine and gearbox.

Another Triumph Stag on Wheeler Dealers tonight on Quest at 9.00pm and Quest+1 at 10.00pm although some viewers may have seen it previously on Discovery. Hopefully it will be an all-Triumph affair and not another Triumph-Rover combination.
