Missing: Jenny Mitchell, Naomi Smallwood and Sophie Hands

Naomi Smallwood, 16, Sophie Hands, 15, and Jenny Mitchell, 14, from the Alcester area, were reported missing shortly after 1.30am on Friday.

Warwickshire police say officers immediately conducted a "thorough search of the area".

The three girls are known to have contacts in Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff.

Police enquiries have been made with police forces in those areas as well as British Transport Police

Naomi is described as being 5ft 7in, of slim build with blonde and pink hair. She was last seen wearing a purple track suit.

Sophie is of slim build, 5ft 6in, with long pink hair which is shaved at one side. She was wearing black jeans and a body warmer.

Jenny, who is 5ft 8in, has blonde hair which has pink and orange colouring in it and also shaved on one side. When last seen she was wearing a pink tracksuit.

A Warwickshire police statement said: "Due to their descriptions and their clothing the three girls together will be quite recognisable.

"All the girls are considered to be vulnerable due to their age and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen them, or has any information about their whereabouts or intentions so they can be located quickly."

Anyone who sees the girls is asked to dial 999 and ask for Warwickshire Police, and anyone with other information is asked to contact the force on 101.
