JAMES Armson scored twice for Nuneaton Town as they beat Stratford Town 3-1 in the first round of the Birmingham Senior Cup on Tuesday night.
The midfielder put Boro 1-0 up before the Calor League side levelled. Boro could afford for Greg Pearson to miss a penalty before Armson restored the lead.
Winger Mark Bell got the final goal. There was a blow for midfielder Jon Adams as he had to be replaced in the first half due to injury.
Full-back David McNamee also missed the game after pulling out in the warm up due to injury.
