Coronation Street topped Monday's soap ratings (July 8) with the latest scheming from David, overnight figures show.
7.61m (41.0%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 192k (0.9%) on +1 as David sparked a drugs raid at the Bistro, while the audience rose to 7.83m (36.7%) at 8.30pm and 235k (1.1%) on +1 as the incident caused a big row between Nick and Leanne.
EastEnders interested 6.35m (32.3%) at 8pm on BBC One as Dexter ordered Ava to choose between him and Sam, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 457k (2.9%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale claimed 5.74m (34.6%) at 7pm on ITV with the aftermath of Cameron and Debbie's passion, adding 221k (1.1%) on +1.
Hollyoaks appealed to 801k (5.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 107k (0.6%) on +1 as Browning continued with his dark plans, while E4's first look had 593k (3.6%) at 7pm and 130k (0.7%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours managed 539k (10.0%) at 1.45pm and 826k (7.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 280k (4.6%) at 1.15pm, 554k (4.1%) at 6pm and 421k (2.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
