Coronation Street tops Wednesday evening's soap ratings

Coronation Street topped Wednesday evening's (February 20) soap ratings with the latest Platt dramas, overnight figures show.



8.53m (36.6%) tuned in to ITV at 7.30pm to see pregnant Kylie drunkenly fall from a table at The Rovers, while 230k (1.0%) watched an hour later on +1.

Emmerdale interested 7.06m (32.1%) at 7pm and 154k (0.7%) on +1 with a turning point for Cain and Moira.

Hollyoaks pulled in 1.11m (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as temptation was laid in Darren's path, while E4's first look had 609k (2.8%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 768k (9.3%) at 1.45pm and 925k (5.6%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away grabbed 797k (4.2%) at 6pm and 457k (2.2%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.8m (22.0%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
