High levels are expected on the River Leam at Eathorpe, Hunningham and Offchurch and on the River Anker around Royal Meadow Drive, Ratcliffe Road and Aldermill Business Park in Atherstone.

Parts of Leamington Spa town centre are also affected by a flood warning.

The warning is for Mill Gardens, Royal Pump Rooms and gardens, parts of Dormer Place, Riverside and Adelaide Road.

Several less serious flood alerts are in place on other stretches of the rivers Anker, Itchen and Leam.

Hazardous driving conditions have also been reported on the A4053 ring road in Coventry due to snow and ice.

Up to 3cm (1in) snow fell in parts of the county overnight, although the Met Office said weather conditions were expected to clear through the day.
