POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a spate of burglaries in Bedworth during the Christmas period.

The first incident happened in Chapel Street between 5.30-10.40pm on December 19. Burglars stole a TV after smashing a window to get in.

On December 27 between 2-5.15pm offenders smashed their way into a property in Alexander Road stealing a laptop and cash.

Thieves struck again just after 1.30am on December 28 when two men attempted to break in to a home in Coventry Road, Exhall, but failed to get in.

On the same day, in Harbury Road two suspected burglars were arrested inside a property after a neighbour spotted them getting in.

Call 101 if you can help.
